Communication Collateral for civil and construction

A brand identity that is not applied consistently is not finished.

The identity work establishes the visual language. The collateral is where that language is applied in the everyday environments the business actually operates in. Every document sent, every card handed over, every email received is either reinforcing the brand or working against it. There is no neutral touchpoint.

'Strate produces the full suite of communication collateral alongside the brand identity work so the business is presenting consistently from the first handshake to the formal proposal.

Consistency is not a design preference. It is a commercial decision.

Business Card
The brand in
your hand.

Every in-person interaction ends the same way. A card handed over, a number saved, a name remembered or forgotten. A business card carries the brand into that moment with the same standard as every other touchpoint. The physical impression that stays after the conversation ends.

Email Signature
Sent hundreds of times a week. Almost always an afterthought.

The email signature is the most frequently used brand touchpoint in most businesses and the most consistently ignored. Every email sent is a brand moment. An HTML-formatted signature ensures that moment is working for the business rather than against it.

Letterhead
Formal correspondence that carries real commercial weight.

A proposal, a letter of introduction, a formal document sent to a head contractor or procurement team. The standard of the document is being read alongside the content of it. A branded letterhead ensures every formal communication looks like it came from the same business that produced the capability statement and the website.

Master Document Template
Brand consistency in every document the business produces.

Quotes, reports, project updates, internal briefs. The operational documents most businesses produce without thinking about how they look. A master document template carries the brand into every document the business sends without requiring a designer to produce them. The identity does not stop at the designed assets.

The brand applied consistently. Everywhere it needs to be.

One business, one impression, no matter where it shows up.

FAQs
Can the collateral be updated internally after handover?
arrow down
Yes, within reason. The master document template is supplied in Microsoft Word, Google Docs or InDesign, depending on the business's preferred software, so it can be updated directly in-house. The letterhead is supplied as both a print-ready PDF and a Word file for the same reason. The email signature is supplied as formatted HTML, straightforward to update for most email clients, though some platforms may need basic technical help. For anything beyond a client's ability to change, that is where we come in.
Why does branded collateral matter if we already have a logo and a website?
arrow down
A logo and a website are two touchpoints. The collateral is every other one: the document sent to a head contractor, the card handed over, the proposal that lands before the meeting. They either carry the same standard or quietly undercut it. Collateral is what makes the brand consistent everywhere it actually shows up.
Do you manage printing?
arrow down
No. Business cards and letterhead are supplied as print-ready files with full specifications, so they go straight to any printer. If you need a printer recommendation, we can help with that.
Can you create communication collateral using our existing brand?
arrow down
Yes, where the existing brand is strong enough to work from. The starting point is a review of what is in place: logo files, colour specifications, typography, and any existing brand guidelines. Where the foundations are solid, the collateral is built to match. Where there are gaps or inconsistencies that would undermine the result, that conversation happens before work begins.
